I have a remote view connected to a Sybase database. One of the fields is an image field where I want to store a bitmap file.

Typically, in VFP tables, I can do Append General from and I'm all set. I tried this on the remote view and when I go to the next record I receive a "connectivity error (Intersolv ODBC - SQL Server Driver) invalid string or buffer length"
I then a messagebox with "OK", "Revert" or "Help".

When I click OK, and close down the view, I get a windows 95 program error and VFP shuts down. When I go back into the database, I must re-validate the database and I end up losing my view and I need to re-create it. If I click Revert, I end up losing the image.

Previous to this, I had to change the SQL Where Clause Includes to key fields only otherwise I received another error stating I couldn't update the image field because it required this clause to be Key fields only.

Any ideas?
