I don't remember if I have this link saved at home. I found a website where folks sent in the results of trying +/- on various home DVD player's. You would only have to hope your friends can give you the right model number.

If I recall, in general, if it's an older player, you'll have more success with -. I also think certain manufacturers will work better too.

There was no +/- controversy with CD.

>If someone finds an article saying something like this, I'd appreciate you posting it. I for one hope they come up with one standard. I have had better luck with my DVD-Rs playing on my friends DVD players when I make a DVD to watch. Every now and then I have to copy it to a +R for someone.
