I suppose that you remember what kind of problems had Whil Hentzen showing how could be used VFP with Linux.

According me the best option is to use fifth version of PHP/MySQL if you will make dynamic web-site otherwise if it will be only VisitCard of the Company + some catalog of Products which you offer you can build is as Static pages with jScript/CSS menu for faster navigation.

Personaly I prefer ASP.Net/C# and SQLServer CMS. Mostsuitable and faster running is DNN(opensource project)
