Do you start the app by doubleclicking on the EXE or do you use a shortcut. If the latter, check for the "Execute in" in the Shortcut.

Also have a look for the CONFIG.FPW if there is anything in it.

Where do You set the Set default to... command? And did You make sure it's getting executed?

Do You execute an APP via VFP or a standalone EXE?
