>hi all,
>I was thinking about developing a scheduling system that would show dates and events within those dates, much like outlooks calendar view. the only thing is i don't know if it is possible to creat objects on a grid in VFP that can be dragged from one day to another. i would prefer to do this is VFP but if its not possible i was wondering if anyone knew if this functionality is available in NET, i'm really starting to dabble in it now but don't know nearly enough about the base classes etc.

Funny thing we are just now considering developing an app using the PIM controls from DBI-tech. They even supply some samples in VFP. I have downloaded a trial version and have found these controls to be really excellent and easy to work with.

The ctMDay control will give you an "OUTLOOK LIKE " interface with drag n drop etc.

In fact each appointment object can be linked to an id so that it can hook into your datatable. The controls are NOT databound but can easily be setup using SCAN ENDSCAN and the sample code shows it.

Really excellent. Download the trial and other schedule / calendar components and check them out.
