Hi,
This from WIN2K help

To enable volume disk quotas

On the Windows desktop, double-click My Computer : From the Windows 2000 desktop, double-click My Computer.
Right-click the volume for which you want to add new disk quota entries, and then click Properties.
In the Properties dialog box, click the Quota tab.
On the Quota properties page, select the Enable quota management check box.
Click the Limit disk space to option. This activates the fields for setting disk space limits and warning levels.
Type a numeric value in the text fields, and click a disk space unit from the drop-down list. You can type any decimal value (for example, 20.5 MB) that does not exceed the maximum capacity of the volume.
Select any quota logging options that you want, and then click OK to enable the disk quota.
Important

You can set disk quotas only on volumes with an NTFS file system.
You must be an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to set disk quotas.
Note

When you enable disk quotas on a volume, any user with write access to the volume who has not exceeded his or her quota limit can store data on the volume. The first time a user writes data to a quota-enabled volume, default values for disk space limit and warning level are automatically assigned by the quota system.
You can use the New Quota Entry feature to set up different quota limits and warning levels for a particular user. This is useful when you do not want to use the default disk space limit and warning level values for a particular user. Typically, the default disk space limit and warning level values established by the volume administrator are sufficient for new users of the volume.
