I just downloaded DBFUtils (thank you). But the result is the same as with DBFView.

>No, DBFView is something different to DBFUtils. Check out http://www.dbfutils.com/ (hmmm, looking at the blurb they don't mention DBASE IV, only III, but there's no harm in trying it out).
