I just read your post to Naomi and saw your work around that required a class in another PRG whose purpose is to return your integer handle.

If you want to send me a copy and paste version of your code (w/your working copy of IconBuddy), I will review your full code to see if I see anything else strange.

I believe there's an explanation other than VFP heap/stack bugs because otherwise we would have heard a lot more complaints from anyone using GDI+/VFP 9 reporting tools? One thought is that your code that retrieves a handle may be at fault or requires something to force the handle to be treated as a true integer? Of course these are pure SWAGs ... scientific wild-ass guesses :)
