I liked Koeman. He was not bad.
Ajax has its cycles: some very good years, then they sell everything, then some pretty bad years and so on.
Ajax normally activates Blind whenever the main coach resigns. Im sure Van Basten would have become tha coach if have not had accepted Oranje job.
Although I never liked Van Gaal's personality, he always had results. Even now, at AZ, he is doing a great job as a TD. So who knows, maybe Ajax will bring him back together with Adriaansee. My wish is that Cruyff will come back to coach Ajax again.
Back in the 70's a romanian coached Ajax: Kovacs. Well, I dont think the team was difficult to coach when you had Cruyff,Kroll,Rep,Haan & Neeskens:)

I used to live and breathe soccer:)
