We've had one here who went to a summer holiday to an almost deserted island without a telephone (the only good place for a programmer, really), and his buddies suddenly needed one of his files - and it was password protected. They tried out all the possible names, nicknames, his former girlfriends' names and nicknames, cats & dogs, birthdays and other important dates, and finally retyped the file from paper.

Two weeks later he came and said the password was "OK".

BTW, another idea: alt+PrintScreen, paste into a bitmap editor (like Paintbrush) and then submit the bitmaps to some OCR software. I seem to remember that the Hungarian Recognita recognized tables pretty well and exported them into Word.
