I've inherited a VFP6 project. To handle e-mail it uses the SFMapi.VCX class, which is basically a wrapper for the MSMAPI32.OCX ActiveX control.
Whenever I try to view/modify the SFMapi class in VFP6, the VFP7 installer pops up (VFP7 is the latest version I have installed on this machine). If I let the installer proceed, it eventually comes up with an error 1706. If I cancel the VFP7 installer it seems to open OK.
I have re-registered MSMAPI32.OCX via REGSVR32, with no effect.
Does anyone know what's wrong and what to do to get rid of this annoyance?
