This says it all. Imagine if MS didn't allow VFP to
connect to other databses. It would be almost useless
unless we resorted to old import text files and duplicate
data.
VFP, if Microsoft doesn't drop it, is great for
data manipulation. But it's two gig limit prohibits
it from being a serious candidate for big projects.
If only SQL Server, AS400, Oracle, and the rest could
have the speed that VFP does.
