I like the DBC over the MDB (Access) because the DBC does not contain the data itself. I can ZIP the DBC during the day (as I'm working on it) since it is small. Saving the MDB is impossible because the data is stored in it. If a DBC becomes corrupted, the data itself is still good. If a MDB becomes corrupted, the data itself is corrupted.
