>Another part of the Pledge, pledges allegiance to the flag and republic that provides "liberty and justice for all".
This liberty and justice ought to include liberty and justice for the religious (including Christians).

Tell me, when was the last time you were forbidden to pray to your magic deity?
When was the last time you heard of somebody restrained or forbidden by the US Government to pray to Allah, Buddah or whatever?

You do have the "liberty and justice for all". Just go and pray. Whatever makes you happy.

>Dictionary definition: Tyrant - an absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution.

So? How does this apply to the US Government or system of Government?

>Many US courts are already showing themselves unrestrained by the US Constitution's 1st amendment protection to "free expression" of religion.

What? Where? Name a case where the courts precluded somebody from praying to their choice of magic pill and not be challenged? There was a fairly recent case of parents suing because their children could not practice WICCAN. It was later ruled in their favor, as it should be. Do you have a problem with that? They have freedom of religion. You or I may not agree with their choice but they do have the freedom.

>Either a nation submits itself under God and His Laws or it tries to reverse the submission. The "under God" clause is essential. There is no neutrality. God's and His Law is either Supreme or subordinate.

What the heck are you talking about? This is the USA, not Iran.

The recent looting and anarchy in New Orleans shows where human behavior will go when it is unrestrained by proper fear.

No. It was because they were criminals. Nothing to do with religion. Just antisocial and unlawful behaviour that should be punished under the law.

>Government, in its proper role, imposes restraints on theft, violence, and other crimes. When governments are unrestrained by a Higher Power, then they are unrestrained themselves from becoming a source for tyranny and injustice.

I think you may need a Civics refresher class.
