The current latest non-beta is 7.5. This can be downloaded from the website. This is a morphed version between 7.1 and 8.00. It gives a few features found in eight with some notable exceptions like, you cannot embed a CDE at design time, it does not provide the Get/SetRecordData cursor methods, and, a few others.

I have been using CM8 B3 for some time now. However, I have found and fixed numerous issues in B3. I have reported them to Dave and he has updated the framework at his end. So, I guess these fixes will make it into B4 or the release version (whatever comes next). The CM8 release is taking a long time primarily because Soft Classics have been developing a vertical market application that is taking a lot of their development resources. So, there is not too much time to spare finishing up CM8, at least at the moment. However, B3 is pretty stable if you don't hit the issues that I have encountered. Like you, I am using VFP9 and it is a great combination with Codemine!
