It is my belief that this is the case Perry.

The C# folks dont "really" get data. It's as though they just discovered it IMO.

The language extensions that are being shown in C# are more verbose and cryptic. The VB extensions are very much like we have in VFP.

I also expect in the timeframe they have that we'll get stuff like UPDATe and INSERT. (Time will tell on that one)

When I get home I'm gonnna begin researching and posting stuff about this on my blog.

There are other language changes in VB.NET and C# that were implemented just for the implementation of these features. THis is def a welcome addition to .NET.
