Ken Levy hosted a session today on creating three tier applications. There were over 100 people in the session mostly VB types. To say the least Ken "blew them away." He demonstrated the new Anomaly Tracking System from VFP 6.0. and how it allows you to use rds and pull the majority of the web page down to the client in tables, then execute it from the client. He really had them buzzing when he showed how to (as an administrator) modify the source code for the application and then send the changes back up the wire. Real time disconnected changes! When he showed that I saw several people shaking their heads and then scratching them.
