well, for the most part, it is another way to get data, but is waaaay much easier to deal with it than it is to dela with ado.net, and besides, mabe the most important, it seems that they are trying to push it as a standard. In reference to data, It's THE buzzword here. Just reporting, don't kill the messenger please ;).
