Tracy;

I think that within all public schools throughout the nation we should have a period of time set aside for “self expression”. Specifically, this will be but one item from the First Amendment. Each student shall stand in formation and face an American Flag, one per student. The student can then spit upon or burn the flag as is desired.

This activity will carry over to all public events such as but not limited to Baseball and Football games. This is what our great nation is all about. Self-expression.

>It is a pledge of allegiance to the republic (our country). Of course, we could just ditch the pledge completely and incorporate mandatory military service for everyone instead. :o)

>>I was just thinking of that point also Tamar. They think that those who believe in Jesus Christ and worship God are the ones who force the Pledge of Aligience. But if you truly believe in God than there is no aligience but to God himself.

>>>>Alex you tell me exactly where in the constitution does it say to remove God from the pledge. And if you give me the pat answer of "separation of Church and State", then you had better look deep and hard at what that phrase was refering to.
>>>
>>>Tell me where in the Constitution it says we should have a Pledge of Allegiance. One of my kids pointed out to me how absurd it is to pledge one's allegiance to a flag. Listen to the words.
>>>
>>>Hey, folks in other countries, does anybody else have anything like this?

>>>Tamar
