Title:
Printing to a special sized for in winxp
Environment versions
Visual FoxPro:
FoxPro Windows
I have a customer with a Fox 2.x application that prints to a special sized form. (I didn't write, so I can't get at the source code.)
In Windows 98, all they had to do to make it work, was to set up a generic text printer and tell it not to page eject. The report form is on a tractor feed printer; the width is the same as a letter, but it is only 7" long.
They upgraded their machine to Windows XP and we set up a similar printer as above. But what happens now is it prints as if everything is letter size. i.e. it prints the 7" report advances to the 11" mark and starts the next page.
Needless to say this is unacceptable as the pre-printed forn is only 7" long.
Is there anyway to set up a form for this text printer to print properly?
Thanks,
Mike
