I've seen this movie. Not one that makes you particular happy at the end. Indeed a lot of twists. A bit too much without a clear plot if you ask me. Its more about the tension/problems fear and preassumptions between ethnical groups rather than pure discrimination. The character did not want to discriminate, but were as mentioned in this thread before 'hyper sensitive' (one of the two thieves comming out of the restaurant, later stealing a car).

The movie IMO outlines what happens when people get too sensitive about racial differences.
