I have a big issue with those who push religion with statements such as your's. I don't understand people who don't think we can have morality without religion. That you can't possibly tell right from wrong without religion.

Everyday I have a stronger and stronger feeling about this. Particularly when you have nutjobs evangelists saying things like Hollywood has caused the destruction of New Orleans. Because they selected a lesbian, Ellen Degeneres, to host the Emmy's. He spewing hatred, which I don't need religion to know is wrong. There have been far, far, far, far, far too many examples thru history of people justifying destruction based on their feelings about another religion.

Whose right when someone in Iraq says we, the US, are a bunch of infidels according to their God, and should be destroyed. And Bush fires right back and says that his belief in his God is leading him to launch a war with those same Iraqes?

I find religion to be a crutch for the weakminded. Those who don't feel comfortable making decisions for themselves, who want to be led. Unfortunately, there are too many instances of those people willing to follow someone down a misguided path. Against abortion, but no problem with dropping bombs over Iraq. A tatic sure to kill women with unborn fetus' in them.

>If they keep on pushing to remove God from Schools, from the courts, from Governement, then I fear they are going to get what they ask for.
