How can we have interesting discussions when you can't grasp why others find your statements frightening????
Please justify for me the stife that's occurred for how many years in Ireland with Christians vs. Protestants? How about Shiites vs. Sunni vs Kurds in Iraq? Bush's God vs. Bin Laden's God?

>>>I think I need to work on my grammer skills when typing fast. I meant to type "You questioned a religious person about parenting" I was pointing out to you that you asked a religious person their view on parenting and the advantage of being a parent who has a belief in God. I gave you my answer. At no time did I say you are a bad parent for being non-religious. I do not even know you or your family, so why would I say that. You asked me if there is an advantage to being a
God-fearing parent. I indicated yes. If you choose not to believe in anything remotely religious, then that is your choice. I can only tell you what I believe.

>>Why do you fear your God! It indicates that you are driven by negative ideas. Oh, never mind... we'll probably never agree.

>"God-fearing" is a phrase that has deeper meaning than the way you interpret it. Yes we'll probably never agree, but that does not mean we cannot have interesting discussions. Thanks for the back and forths.
