Hi John

>Hi, also you can use replace mydate with ctod("//")

The VFP help states:
CTOD( ) can create ambiguous Date values and generates a compilation error when SET STRICTDATE is set to 2. To create unambiguous Date values, use the DATE( ) function.
However, the DATE() function cannot render an empty date, so it is safer to use {/} or {}.
