Wait... This is a .NET WebService. I had this a few months ago where I could not properly query a WebService we did in .NET until I realized that in VFP the return-value was not a string but an object witch was really cool. I think the reason is that the webService in the WSDL does not say it returns a string.

I don't have the code at hand now. But check if You receive an object.
