It is only the buttons? What about the textbox? Is it flat or 3D too? When you say that the buttons look 3D, do you mean "old style" 3d, i.e. grey color and 90 degree corners with a chiseled edge or XP style 3D buttons?

How about the dropdown lists shown here on the UT site? Mine look XP style.

Just to follow up. When you say that your have themes permanently turned off do you mean that you have themes set to Windows Classic? I just did that and everything reverted to "old" style.
