Your response in message 645940 was straight to the point.

I took awhile but I did follow the thread 974538 you gave me and eventually came to your response to thread 645934 with message 645940 which was simply:

oSocket = CreateObject("MSWinsock.Winsock")
? oSocket.LocalIP

and it works very well
