I have two tables each with multiple occurrences of an ID number, I guess a many to many scenario. I would like to generate a new table, using both those tables, with only a single occurrence of the ID numbers. Currently I have 2 SQL statements that generate two separate tables and then through code looks for the missing records in one and inserts them from the other. At the end I do have a table with all ID's but I would like to do this in one SQL statement. Is this possible?
