Took me a moment to understand what You mean, but, Yes, You're right. I do use the Extension as the key for the collection-Item and as it seems an empty string is not permittet (witch is good, otherwise we would get just get the first item in the collection back when querying an empty ext. ).

I have an idea how to solve this and will make a new version ready for You right now.
