Given the two millenia of scholastics, disputes over the matter, fine distinctions between this and that version of the base text, and the multiplication-by-division that happened... of course there's a lot to talk and think about.

Pretty much like chess. There's a huge theory on it out there, and you can apply a lot of thinking to it. Does it necessarily affect our lives? No, unless you're a chess player.
