What do you mean by "garbage characters" and when do you see them? Do you see them IN the memo field itself or only if you show the content of the memo field in a text box or ???

Is it possible that they are really carriage-return and line-feed characters?



>Hello. Does anyone know why a memo field in Foxpro 6.0 can become corrupted with garbage characters? Is there any code I can place in my application to prevent the memo field from being corrupted? The memo field in my application is a control source for an editbox. Any help anyone can offer is much appreciated.
