Hiya Mike!

I'd disagree. (surprise! lol) I have to go get the car looked at so don't have the time right now however, the real problem here is that God must reveal Himself to man for man to understand Him.

Think about it.. How can the finite understand the infinite. THis is the root problem of philosophy - it starts with man and at the end of the day is nothing more than a grand exercise in anthropomorphism.

In Christianity, God directly reveals Himself to mankind.

Later.

best,

DD

>>The whole set of concepts of God, man's responsibility to God, God's right to expect certain attitudes & actions, etc all come from the notion that there actually IS a god, which is a sort of 'first step', so to speak.

>Those beliefs are not necessary in theism. In fact, your theology evolved from an earlier religion where it would be improper to even pronounce the name of God, because the idea of comprehending God was a silly proposition:

Best,

DD

A man is no fool who gives up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose.
Everything I don't understand must be easy!
The difficulty of any task is measured by the capacity of the agent performing the work.
