Wouldn't a classic "mover list" suffice for this (e.g. like the one in word for selecting fields for a mail merge, et al)? Thing is, such is achieved via two listboxes, not a grid. There is an example of a mover list in the VFP foundation classes and/or examples.
However, I think the standard mover list only comprises one column in each list. I've refined it for my purposes into a 2-col mover list set, which I'd be happy to send you, if interested.

>I am trying to create a form in which trucks and drivers can be assigned to each other in and out of a pool. I want this to look very much like moving icons between windows in My Computer/Explorer. I created a single column grid with a container that describes the driver or the truck. I want to drag that item into another grid set up the same way. I would like the mouse icon to change during the drag and I need to do my own programming to get the data stored correctly on the drop. I have found this to be very difficult to do. I am still using VFP 7, I am waiting until after Southwest Fox before I start using my VFP9.
