I grew up in more of a desert than Santa Barbara, in a town called Riverside, east of Los Angeles. This place is great(!), and I have mountains and the ocean nearby. Seattle was far too wet and overcast for us. I think I rusted.

As for not checking here often, we're still settling into a new house, and the pace as been fast paced. I just started a new job and, with this great frame relay connection, I can enjoy live internet music while I work.
