Hi,

Seems to me this should be controlled by the MouseMove event of the thermometer itself. I'd add a custom child control to the thermometer and set its position and content in the thermometer controls .MouseMove (and its visibility in MouseEnter, MouseLeave)

Regards,
Viv

I started this as an excersise to learn more about GDI+, but I also think I need it for a project <s>. Anywho, I added code so that I can click within the cylinder and the liquid level moves to the point I clicked.
