Viv,
My GDI+ book is called:
"GDI+ Programming: Creating Custom Controls Using C#"
The author is Eric White and is published by Wrox.

The book came reccomended by someone else here on UT (but I can't find the message)

The book was written and tested for the final release of .NET v1.0, but I don't think GDI+ was changed that much between 1.0 and 1.1. I wonder if v2.0 will bring any cool things.

>Thank you very much for your reply. I am glad to hear that you use Invalidate() and that you are familiar with drawing using GDI+. I just pulled out my GDI+ book from v1.0 and the author also uses Invalidate(). After your reply and the book text I feel comfortable using Invalidate().

>(I'm battling with nested transparent controls at the moment and just relying on the old 'Graphics API Black Book')
