Thanks. This is part of my second session for Southwest Fox. It will also be available from my downloads page. There isn't much left to finish, unless you want to set the few printer properties from the DEVMODE structure past the FormName, or you want to set something besides printer properties.

Are you using VFP 9? If so, you no longer need the buf2word, num2word, etc. functions because you can use BINTOC and CTOBIN for conversions now.

My session will not only include the SetPrinterProperties code, but also code for getting available paper bins, similar to what you're doing, and a VFP form I created that looks very much like the Windows dialog you see when you call REPORT FORM...TO PRINT PROMPT PREVIEW and click on the print button from the preview. It's a long story as to why I had to go this route, but at least I got a couple of sessions out of it!
