I just tried to improve the presentation of a couple of dropdown comboboxes (style=2) within a big vfp app. The idea was: add nice little .ico or .bmp files to help identify every item.

The first output is ugly. The dropdown list items are much thicker (even with very small bitmap files). The combo becomes a "bitmap" picker. Which is not what we'd like.

Anyway to produce the expected output without resorting to ocx-es.
