>I am trying to make a batch file, using notepad a .txt file and convert it in to .bat so that i could script in command pronmpt to automatically open telnet and then send a smtp mail message, If anyone has any code that could help me do this I will appreciate it. Thank you.

A batch file is simply a text file with the extension ".bat".

For Telnet, include the command "telnet" somewhere in the batch file. This might be the first line.

I am not sure about the SMTP part.
