My inlaws feed the dog from scraps at the table. I hate it because it means you have a begging dog beside you as you eat. Personally I think pets should be kept outside.

Big supermarkets here don't like barefeet because they worry about being sued if you stand on something and cut your feet. Used to be an issue with the children when they where smaller.
