Visual FoxPro Beta

I seem to recall public betas for both VFP8 and VFP9. Certainly, this is the first time the Fox team has done a public beta for a service pack, but I think this is part of the trend as Ken indicated for more "transparency" with products across the developer division. Surely, the team benefits from the public helping out, especially with the testing, but this is nothing new and has been going on for many versions of VFP.
But I think another more important reason for the SP1 public beta is that many of you already have working production code written in VFP9. This gives you guys a chance to ensure that it still properly functions under SP1 and to help identify new regressions that might have cropped up since the RTM build.
