Hi Evan,

Let me be clear: MS did not devour my health and family - I happened into an unfortunate series of events that put me in the position of being vulnerable to workplace stress. The company's intransigence in working with me and my management's predilection to slam me at every opportuntity - while publicly praising (indirectly) my work threw gas on the fire. But they didn't light that fire.

It makes me even more appreciative of the support you gave the Vancouver FoxPro User Group, the encouragement in writing CertFox and to me personally during my time as an MVP. When you joined Microsoft, I had mixed feelings, since I knew that would mean you would be less visible in the community, but was certain that you would have a positive impact on VFP from the inside. While I knew this would swallow up your time, I had no idea that it would devour your family and health.
