I shouldn't have been so fast to dismiss the idea that it was related to debug mode. If I built the project in release mode it works just the way I expect it. It is not a very big deal to me since apps that reach customers should be built in release mode <bg>
If it is "fixed" in v2.0 then it must have been a bug :)
