Thanks for the info ... that's interesting. That's why it never worked for my little test app, since it's never been compiled in Release mode, whereas our "real" app has been ... but not on my PC.

So it must be something in the solution file. I must have the Release mode version of the solution file, having gotten it from Source Safe, even though I've never compiled it myself on my PC in Release mode.

Verrrrrry interestink. <g>
