We didn't release SP1 into public beta for any marketing reasons, but instead to get early feedback from VFP developers before we release a final version and to allow developers to have a chance to know what is coming and to work with it (to help in their application development). If there is any benefit in marketing, that is not planned and would be an indirect result in the effort and goals. Realistically, I think any markeitng associated with SP1 is to help encourage more people to upgrade to VFP 9.0 from previous versions of FoxPro who have not upgraded yet.
