I'm just hoping that one week from tonight is not the night that Green Bay breaks their losing record ! :o) The Panthers have been very dissappointing so far although the games have been exciting. We've virtually given two games away so far this year: the game to the Saints and the one yesterday to the Dolphins. The one yesterday we came from behind and made it a tie in the last two minutes of the game. We were within field goal range, had the ball, and then Lance Schulters intercepted. That put Miami in position to get the field goal, and they did. If only the Panthers would let anyone other than Steve Smith run with the ball (he is one of my favorite players but this is getting ridiculous). Twice it was received by others and they in turn passed it to Smith who was immediately tackled.

I watched the 2nd half of the Miami game (I have the NFL ticket) - that late turnover killed them. It's going to be tough for Carolina this year - they'll need a strong running attack, because Atlanta and Tampa are playing a great ground game. I wondered how competitive the NFC South would be this year - seems it might be better than I thought.

As far GB, I forget where the game is....if it's in Carolina, I think GB might have a better chance, being away from the pressures of home. The loser of that game is in SERIOUS trouble.
