We have a report which is generated in HTML, then converted to Word and output. We simply generate the HTML then insert the document into Word.

The report consists of up to 50 HTML documents that are sequentially inserted. After each, we insert a section break and set a footer for the previous section, which includes page numbering and some text specific to each HTML document (a unique identifier).

On occassion, the footer contains the wrong information - it takes on the unique identifier of the subsequent section/footer in the document.

A few other findings:
- When we double-click in Word on the bad footer to open it, Word jumps to the PREVIOUS footer (not the next one from which it is taking the identifier).
- Sometimes it appears that the pagination is not updated in the auto-generated documented, as it will changed after we double click on the footer.

Our Word Version is 11.6502 (2003 SP1).

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks,

David
