Why are you use DDE instead of COM automation?

>Hi I was wondering if anyone has a successful example of using DDE with Adobe Reader? I can establish a channel to Adobe Reader, but it doesn't seem to respond to any of the commands that I send even if a Boolean .T. is returned from DDEExecute.
