>>>Some VFP team members will be up here to response to posts like yours so that you know the status of your reports. In the near future, we will switch to use LadyBug (MSDN Feedback Center) where your entries will go right into our bug tracking database and you will be able to query your entries to know the status of them.

>I hope you will be able to attend the all day event I'm speaking at in the Netherlands on November 9th, with Lisa Slater Nicholls. See http://www.sdn.nl/Default.aspx?tabid=31 for details. I have good memories from two years ago at this event taking turns speaking all day with Drew Speedie. I recall his son Brent helping me plan out my trip to Switzerland since they had visited there just before I was to make my first visit there after the Frankfurt event.

November 9th should be okay. I'll write it down in my diary.

The SDN (formerly SDGN) is the monopolist again here in Holland. By some/many, whereunder me, they have been criticized for a lack of enthousiasm for vfp. Instead, they were perceived as pushing vfp-developers to make the jump to dotnet: Make the jump before it's too late for you! Well, we all know the schism this has caused here on the UT, between those who want to stick to vfp until they retire and those who believe vfp is nearly dead. It's important to realize that the SDN also embraces other languages, most important being Delphi. Anyway, the VFPSIG should have been the alternative, but it looks like that it has died silently.

I hope your speech will gonna contain some words that will decrease the schism. :)
Groet,
Peter de Valença

If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
