We have extended our early bird special for our .NET for VFP Developers until October 1, 2005!

What it covers

This live, online training class is taught by Kevin McNeish, the author of the book .NET for Visual FoxPro Developers, a Microsoft .NET MVP, and a frequent speaker at .NET conferences and user groups.

The training uses Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0. Here is a list of the topics that are covered:

  • Introduction to .NET 2.0
  • Working with Visual Studio 2005
  • C# and VB .NET Primer
  • Object Orientation in .NET
  • Understanding Data Access in ADO.NET 2.0
  • Working with Business Objects in n-Tier Applications
  • Creating Windows Forms in .NET 2.0
  • Creating Web Forms in .NET 2.0

Cost

The cost for the class is $599 per student, but if you sign up by October 1 you get the early bird price of $499 per student. Note that if you have multiple students taking the training, each student must pay for the class. In addition to the class registration fee, the number you call for audio hookup is a toll number, so you will be charged on your phone bill at the regular rate of your long distance provider. If you have free unlimited long distance calls, then the call is free.

Schedule

The class consists of four, four-hour training sessions, 1pm – 5pm Eastern Standard Time on October 18, 19, 20, 21.
